Let's pack on the lb's!

We had Bridger's 4 month appointment yesterday with the Pediatrician. Everything looked great. Although he has his physical disabilities, mentally he is right on track. He is following objects around and reaching for everything. He is cooing and smiling and giggling and he is also sleeping through the night. At this age he should be able to hold his head up steady when held upright, but he is not quite there yet. Through some physical therapy we should be able to accomplish that within a couple months.

It really has been a bugger getting Bridger qualified for services through the County funded program called Up To 3. They come to the house and do Physical and Occupational Therapy. It has it's advantages becasue it is free, but it's disadvantages are that because it is free it is also VERY slow. We are about a month behind on his PT so I am going to go see my own PT to get a little jump start. It's frustrating, but I guess you so what you have to do!

This summer we have lots of different appointments with lots of different docs. First we will be going to the Nurologist then the eye doctor and then back to Shriners. Not the funnest summer, but at least we may get a few more answers.

So until then the Ped said that we need to fatten up this little boy and get him ready for his surgeries. So we started rice cereal in his bottle last night and we will be trying to eat some bananas tonight. How would it be to be told to pack on the pounds!! Lucky kid!!
